Living from Art
At the Cheltenham Art Office we know just how tricky it can be to make a living from Art. Many different skills are needed, as well as having skill and passion for your chosen art form. Everyone will have found some successful strategies as well as facing many different challenges.
This first meeting is an opportunity to come together and meet others taking the same path. We hope more experienced artists and makers will come along and share what they have learnt with people just starting out.
We expect to find there is much common ground and we can identify the kinds of information, support or training that might help you move forward. The group will then consider whether this can be shared informally amongst ourselves or if some specific training or knowledge sharing sessions are the best way forward. Is there a place for this kind of informal network and what should it look like?
Please pass on this invite to all the artists and makers you know

It’s important that you do book your place in advance, as space is limited.
We’re looking forward to meeting you.
